Who is Shubham Kumar?

Shubham Kumar started RX Design Hub in Lucknow in 2022 to solve a problem he kept seeing in pharmaceutical marketing: field teams were being handed visual aids, prescription pads and reminder cards that were off-brand, late, or badly printed, because the design work and the printing were done by different people who never spoke to each other. His answer was a single desk that owns both — designers who follow a brand system, and a vetted network of partner presses close to the studio that hold quality and dates.

That desk grew into a company. It now has a design team of five, a sales team of four and a seven-person printing-and-binding team that collects every job from the press, checks it and finishes it before dispatch. The same operation that produces visual aids for pharma brands produces corporate diaries, table calendars, wall calendars and gift sets for banks, builders, hospitals, schools, IT offices and dealer networks — hand-delivered in Lucknow and dispatched across Uttar Pradesh and India.

Shubham stays close to the work. He sets the brand systems, takes the product decisions, signs off on every order, and has built the order-tracking and WhatsApp workflows that keep a client book of this size moving without things being forgotten. He is, by his own description, more interested in print that gets used every day than in print that is admired once and put in a drawer.

What the company does

RX Design Hub runs two lines of work from the same studio. They share the designers, the press network and the delivery team; they differ in who the customer is.

Pharma branding and doctor-facing print

Corporate and leather diaries, customised-cover diaries, table and wall calendars, pens, paper weights, bags, T-shirts and boxed gift sets with company logos, for companies in Lucknow first and India second. Design desk

Five designers working to a brand system per client: cover artwork, inside pages, calendar grids, mockups in brand colours, and two to three rounds of corrections before approval is recorded in writing.

Production and finishing

Printing goes to two or three partner presses near the studio; the in-house team collects, checks, binds and packs. Shubham does not claim to own presses — the model is deliberately asset-light so that quality and dates can be held at any run size.

Delivery

Own team for hand delivery across Lucknow; Delhivery, DTDC, VRL and transport for the rest of Uttar Pradesh and India, with docket numbers shared on WhatsApp.

Order tracking

Every brief, proof approval, payment and dispatch leaves a written record on email or WhatsApp, and clients can follow their order's stage without calling — so nothing depends on anyone's memory.

How Shubham works with clients

Every order follows the same path, whether it is 100 diaries for a CA firm in Hazratganj or a pan-India visual aid run for a pharma brand. The brief comes in on WhatsApp or through the form on each page. Two or three options go back, one is approved as a mockup, and a physical sample is produced if the client wants to hold the material before committing. A 50% advance confirms the order; production takes five to ten working days after artwork approval; the balance is settled before dispatch. Two habits are worth knowing about. The first is that proofs are approved in writing — a reply on email or WhatsApp — before anything goes to press, so that a correction is never a matter of memory. The second is that Shubham does not offer a rush lane. One timeline is quoted and kept; if a date cannot be met it is said at the brief stage, not the week before.
