Corporate gifts for banks and NBFCs in Lucknow
Corporate gifts for banks in Lucknow usually mean three things: a dated diary for account holders and staff, a calendar that carries the bank-holiday list, and a pen for the counter or the meeting table.
Banks, NBFCs, insurers and cooperative banks order them in tiers — a leather diary for the zonal head, PU for branch managers, laminated board for clerical staff and business correspondents — all from one approved artwork. We design in Vikas Nagar and deliver branch-wise across the city.
A bank's gift list is long and layered, and a communications team checks it against a brand manual before anything is printed. This page covers how the tiers are split, which compliance points to settle early, and how the January and April rounds differ.
Two gifting calendars: January and April
Most banks in Lucknow gift twice a year, and the two moments call for different things. The calendar-year handover in late December and early January is the large one: dated diaries for staff and account holders, wall calendars for every branch, and table calendars for managers' desks. Artwork for this round is normally approved in October or November so that samples, corrections and the usual 5–10 working days of production are finished before the branches close their year-end books.
The second moment is the start of the financial year in April. Regional offices use it for business-correspondent meets, agent felicitations and branch target launches, and the gifts are smaller and more practical — pens, pocket diaries, undated planners and paper weights that carry the bank's name without needing a 2027 date on them. NBFCs and insurance branches, whose sales cycles are built around the financial year, often put more weight on April than on January.
Diwali sits between the two for banks that run customer meets. A boxed diary–calendar combo given in October doubles as the New Year gift and needs only one budget approval.
Who receives a bank's gifts
The recipient list inside a bank is longer than in most industries: zonal and regional heads, branch managers, officers, clerical staff, the business correspondents and agents who represent the branch from outside it, and then the customers — current-account holders, priority and wealth customers, pensioners, and the self-help groups and traders who make up a cooperative bank's membership.
Each group gets a different piece. Senior staff and large customers receive a PU or genuine-leather diary, often with the recipient's name foil-stamped on the cover. Officers and account holders receive an A5 corporate diary with the bank's profile pages and a bank-holiday list bound in. Business correspondents and counter staff receive pens and table calendars for the kiosk desk. Every branch gets its wall calendars — banking hall, manager's cabin and back office is the usual count of three.
Zonal, regional and branch tiers from one approved artwork
Banks rarely order one product at one tier. The usual request is a single design run in three or four cover grades, so that zonal office, regional offices and branches carry the same look at different cost levels. The budget column is relative, not a price list.
| Tier | Recipients | What they receive | Cover and logo | Budget |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zonal / circle office | Zonal head, deputy heads, visiting executives | Genuine-leather A5 diary with name, boxed pen | Blind deboss, gold-foil name | ₹₹₹₹ |
| Regional office | Regional managers, department heads | PU diary, table calendar, metal pen | Foil logo, laser-engraved pen | ₹₹₹ |
| Branch managers and officers | Managers, officers, relationship staff | PU or leatherette diary, wall calendar for the cabin | Foil logo on cover | ₹₹ |
| Clerical staff and BCs | Clerks, cashiers, business correspondents | Laminated board diary, printed pen | Full-cover lamination print | ₹ |
| Priority account holders | Current-account and wealth customers | Diary–calendar combo in a box | Foil logo, printed sleeve | ₹₹–₹₹₹ |
| Banking hall and counters | Walk-in customers, pensioners | Wall calendars, counter pens, paper weights | Full-colour print, UV on the pen barrel | ₹ |
Brand-guideline points to settle before artwork
The communications team will check artwork against the brand manual; settling these items in the brief saves a round of corrections.
- Logo file and colour values
- Send the vector logo and the brand-manual page with colour references. Foil is one colour per pass, so a two-colour logo is either foiled in one shade or printed in full colour; the mockup shows both.
- Mandatory lines
- Many banks require a helpline number, a customer-awareness line or a regulator-mandated statement on print. Tell us which lines must appear; they go on the inside cover or calendar footer at a legible size.
- Bank-holiday list
- The 2027 planner pages carry national holidays, Uttar Pradesh holidays and the bank-holiday list for the state, with second and fourth Saturdays marked. Add your foundation day and any annual customer-meet dates.
- Bilingual pages
- Public-sector and cooperative banks often want month names, holiday names and the MD's message in Hindi as well as English. Both scripts are typeset properly, not substituted.
- Approval chain
- Branch admin, regional marketing and head-office communications may all need to sign. We supply the mockup as a PDF for circulation and a physical sample for the final signing desk.
- Names from a list
- Names for senior staff and priority customers come from an Excel sheet. Each diary is matched to its row, foil-stamped and packed in the list order so the handover at the branch is quick.
How a bank order moves from brief to branch
Brief from admin or marketing
Quantity by tier and by branch, the brand manual, the holiday list to follow and the date the branches need the pieces in hand. A same-day estimate comes back on WhatsApp or email.
Mockup in brand colours
Within two working days you receive cover and inside-page mockups for each tier, with the logo at actual size and any mandatory lines placed.
Sample for the signing desk
A physical sample of the main tier — usually the PU diary — and one wall calendar are brought to the zonal or regional office for sign-off on material, foil shade and paper.
Branch-wise quantity sheet
After sample approval, the final sheet decides the packing: one labelled lot per branch, with that branch's tier mix inside it.
Production and delivery
Our partner presses complete all tiers within 5–10 working days of approval. Lucknow branches are hand-delivered; district branches go by transport with tracking shared to the regional office.
A worked example: an NBFC's April order for thirty branches
This is an illustrative brief, not a client case study. An NBFC with its state office in Gomti Nagar and thirty branches across Uttar Pradesh wants gifts for its financial-year kick-off in the first week of April. The list runs to 900 people: 30 branch heads, 270 field officers and 600 direct-selling agents and collection partners who are not employees but carry the brand to customers every day.
Because the date is April, the diary is an undated A5 planner with a 2027–28 financial-year calendar and target-tracking pages rather than a dated day-per-page diary. Branch heads receive it in PU with their name foiled on the cover and a laser-engraved pen in a box; field officers get the same planner in leatherette with a printed pen; agents get a pocket planner and a pen. Artwork is approved in the first week of March, the sample is checked at the state office in the second, and the thirty branch lots leave Vikas Nagar by transport in the last week of March, each carton labelled with branch code and tier counts.
Business correspondents, agents and the people outside the branch
The people a bank's customers meet most often — business correspondents at kiosks, insurance agents, collection partners, direct-selling agents — are usually the last added to the gift list and the first to notice when left off. Their pieces need to be durable, inexpensive and clearly branded: a printed pen that lasts a year of customer forms, a pocket diary, and a small table calendar that shows the bank's name to every walk-in at the kiosk.
For cooperative and regional rural banks with branches in Barabanki, Unnao, Sitapur or Raebareli, the agent lots travel inside the branch's own cartons, so the manager hands them out in the same week. Dispatch beyond the city is covered on the Uttar Pradesh page.
Where Lucknow's banks are
Bank zonal offices and main branches in Lucknow cluster in two places: around the Hazratganj crossing and Vidhan Sabha Marg, and in the Vibhuti Khand and Vipin Khand blocks of Gomti Nagar. We cover both by hand from Vikas Nagar — see the Hazratganj and Gomti Nagar pages. Branch networks reach every locality on the Lucknow areas list, and lots are delivered on the same run where the route allows.
If you are tiering a long recipient list for the first time, the budget-per-recipient guide and the 2027 order timeline are the two pages to read before the brief; the full process from brief to delivery is on how we work. Branches that want the brand consistent beyond gifting order letterheads, envelopes and visiting cards from the same guideline file.
Questions banks and NBFCs ask
Can one order cover our zonal office, regional offices and all Lucknow branches?
Yes. Send a branch-wise sheet with the tier mix for each office. Lots are packed and labelled per branch, hand-delivered across Lucknow and sent by transport to district branches with tracking.
Do your diaries carry the bank-holiday list for Uttar Pradesh?
Yes. The 2027 planner pages mark national holidays, Uttar Pradesh holidays and the state bank-holiday list, including second and fourth Saturdays. Your foundation day and customer-meet dates can be added to the same grid.
Our brand manual is strict — can you work to it?
Send the manual with the logo file. Artwork follows the colour references, clear space and lock-up rules, and the mockup shows the logo at actual size so your communications team can check it before a sample is made.
What is the minimum order for a single bank branch?
100 diaries or table calendars, and 1,000 wall calendars. A single branch usually joins the regional or zonal order; where a branch orders alone, diaries and pens together make a sensible lot.
Is a GST invoice issued, and how is payment handled?
A GST invoice is issued on every order. Payment is by bank transfer, UPI or card; institutional buyers normally pay an advance on confirmation and the balance before the lots leave the studio.
We gift in April for the financial year rather than January — does that change the product?
Usually yes. For April, most banks and NBFCs choose an undated planner or a financial-year diary running April to March, with target and review pages, rather than a dated calendar-year diary. Both are made in the same cover tiers.
