When to order 2027 diaries and calendars: a week-by-week timeline
To hand out 2027 diaries and calendars in the first week of January, the order has to be approved by the end of November 2026: production takes 5–10 working days after written artwork approval, packing and dispatch take a further week, and courier transit from Lucknow runs from 1–3 working days in north India to 3–5 in the south.
Working backwards from 1 January 2027, that puts the brief in October, the proof and sample in November and dispatch in the first half of December.
Why the date is fixed and the timeline is not flexible
A dated diary and a calendar lose value by the day after 1 January. There is no rush service to recover a late start — production is one standard timeline of 5–10 working days after approval for every client — so the only variable you control is how early the artwork is final. Diwali falls on Sunday 8 November 2026 and takes most offices out for the surrounding days, which compresses November further.
The schedule below assumes a national order with several offices. A single-city order has the same production dates and simply loses the zone-wise dispatch stage.
October 2026: brief, quantities, options
Week of 19 October: decide the tiers (who gets a leather-finish diary, who gets a customised-cover diary, who gets a calendar only), count recipients per office, and send the logo as a vector file with your brand colours. Ask each branch for its headcount now; this is the step that slips most often.
Week of 26 October: you receive two or three options per tier with a per-piece price and choose. Send the company pages — MD's message, profile, product range, branch directory — and the list of states whose holidays should appear. Design of covers, inner pages and calendar sheets starts on receipt.
November 2026: proof, sample, approval
Week of 2 November: digital mockups and PDF proofs of every face arrive before Diwali. Circulate them internally; corrections in this round cost nothing but days. Expect little movement from 7 to 10 November while offices are closed.
Week of 9 November: approve the proof in writing and, if you want one, a physical sample is produced and couriered to the approving office — allow three to five working days for it to arrive. Week of 16 November: check the sample in hand (cover colour, paper, lamination, stand), send final corrections and give written approval. Production begins the next working day. Week of 23 November is the last comfortable week for approval; approval after 30 November still works for production but pushes dispatch into the Christmas courier squeeze.
Late November to early December: production and packing
Production runs 5–10 working days from approval: printing, lamination, wiro binding for calendars, hardbinding for diaries, then checking of every lot for logo position, colour, spelling and count. An approval on 20 November finishes between 27 November and 4 December.
Week of 30 November and 7 December: per-recipient packing (sleeves or boxes, greeting cards, name slips) and per-office cartons with packing lists. Your branch-wise address sheet must be final by now; a changed address after cartons are labelled means repacking.
December 2026: zone-wise dispatch
Dispatch runs by zone so that arrival dates line up. Week of 7 December: south India consignments (Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi; 3–5 working days by courier) and anything going by transport or part-load, which adds two to four days. Week of 14 December: west and east (Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Patna, Guwahati; 2–4 working days). Week of 14–21 December: north India (Delhi NCR, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Kanpur; 1–3 working days).
Every consignment should be booked by the third week of December; courier networks slow between Christmas and the New Year. Each office receives its own tracking number and the head office a consolidated list, so receipt can be confirmed branch by branch before the holidays.
January 2027: handover
1 January 2027 is a Friday, so most companies hand out sets on Monday 4 January. Cartons that arrived in the last week of December sit in each office over the break and are opened on the first working day. Keep a small buffer — two to three per cent — at head office for new joiners and missed names.
If you are reading this in December, the honest answer is that an approval now delivers in January rather than before it, and that a calendar-only order is quicker to approve than a diary with company pages. The components are described on the corporate diary manufacturer, table calendar manufacturer and wall calendar printing pages, and the sets on New Year corporate gifts 2027.

Questions buyers ask
What is the last date to order 2027 corporate diaries for January delivery?
Written approval of the artwork by about 27 November 2026 is the comfortable limit for a national order. Approval in early December can still deliver before 1 January for nearby cities, but courier capacity tightens after mid-December.
How long does production take?
5–10 working days after written approval of the proof, for diaries and for table and wall calendars alike. There is no faster service.
How long does a sample add?
About a week: two to three working days to make and three to five to courier, depending on the city. It is worth it for any order above a few hundred pieces.
How long does delivery take after dispatch?
By courier from Lucknow: 1–3 working days to north India, 2–4 to the west and east, 3–5 to the south. Transport or part-load for heavy lots adds two to four days.
Can we still order in December?
Yes, but plan for January handover rather than before it. A calendar-only order with supplied artwork is the quickest; a diary with company pages needs the full proof cycle.
