BUSINESS PRINT & STATIONERY
Corporate stationery printing in Lucknow
Corporate stationery is the set of printed items a company writes on and hands over every working day — letterheads, envelopes, visiting cards, presentation folders and notepads — designed to one brand system so that a letter, its envelope and the card clipped to it look like they came from the same office.
We design the set in Vikas Nagar, print it at partner presses nearby on 100 GSM letterhead paper and 300 GSM card, and deliver across Lucknow 5–10 working days after approval.
Most companies buy stationery one item at a time from wherever is nearest, and the mismatch shows. This page is about ordering the set together, matching it to the diaries and calendars you already give out, and keeping the files so reprints stay identical.
One brand system, five printed items
A letterhead is read for ten seconds; a visiting card is kept for years; an envelope is seen by the office attendant, the receptionist and the addressee before the letter is. Each carries the company's name, and when they are printed at different times by different shops the logo drifts — a slightly different blue, a different weight of type, an address block set three ways.
The set we make for Lucknow offices is five items: letterheads, envelopes, visiting cards, presentation folders and notepads, with compliment slips added when the office sends out couriers and gifts. Our design desk draws one system — logo position, type, colour values, the exact address and GSTIN block — and applies it across all five, so that a proposal in a folder, the letter inside it and the card clipped to the front read as one piece of work.
The same system then carries to everything else the company prints: the cover of its corporate diary, the footer of its table calendar, the sleeve of its gift set. Companies that order those at New Year usually find the stationery is the missing piece.
The set, item by item
The specifications below are the ones most offices settle on; each can be changed. Budget is relative — ₹ lowest, ₹₹₹₹ highest — and depends on quantity, paper, finish and the number of names on the cards.
| Item | Paper and finish | Usual quantity | Notes | Budget |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Letterhead | 100 GSM letterhead paper, single colour or full colour | 500 – 5,000 sheets | Logo, address, GSTIN and any registration line as your accountant specifies | ₹ |
| Envelope | Printed to match the letterhead; sizes for A4 flat, A4 folded and cheque or card | 500 – 2,000 | Return address on the flap or face; window option for billing | ₹ |
| Visiting card | 300 GSM card; matt or gloss lamination, or spot UV on the logo | 100 per name upwards | Names and designations from an Excel list; bilingual cards for government-facing staff | ₹–₹₹ |
| Presentation folder | Board cover, laminated, inside pocket and visiting-card slit | 250 – 1,000 | Holds a proposal, brochure or admission pack; spine for thicker sets | ₹₹ |
| Notepad | Ruled or plain sheets glued at the head, printed card back | 250 – 1,000 pads | Reception, meeting rooms, sales desks | ₹ |
| Compliment slip | Same stock as the letterhead, one-third A4 | 500 – 2,000 | Goes in every courier and gift dispatch | ₹ |
Visiting cards: the three finishes we offer
Cards are the item people ask most about, because they are the one piece of stationery that leaves the building in other people's pockets. All three finishes are on 300 GSM card.
- Matt lamination
- A soft, non-reflective surface that takes a pen note on the back and hides fingerprints. The usual choice for CA, law and consulting firms, and for any logo with fine lines.
- Gloss lamination
- A bright, wipe-clean surface that makes full-colour logos and photographs look saturated. Common for builders, showrooms, hotels and anyone with a colourful mark.
- Spot UV
- Matt-laminated card with a clear gloss coating applied only on the logo or the name, so it catches the light while the rest stays flat. Used where the card should feel considered without being loud.
- Names from a list
- Send an Excel sheet with name, designation, mobile and email per person; each card is proofed as a PDF and printed in its own lot of 100 or more. New joiners are added to the same file later.
- Two languages
- Hindi on one face and English on the other is standard for staff who deal with government offices, courts and district clients; both scripts are typeset, not substituted.
Matching the stationery to the diaries and calendars you already give
Many offices that come to us for stationery have already ordered their New Year customised diaries or wall calendars from the studio. The artwork for those is on file — logo at the right size, the colour values the press achieved, the address block as approved — and the stationery is built from the same file, so the diary on the desk and the letterhead in the printer tray match without a new round of corrections.
The reverse also works. A company that starts with the stationery set in June has a settled brand system by the time the diary season opens in October, and the diary cover, the calendar footer and the pen barrel follow it.
From logo file to a stocked stationery cupboard
Brief
Which items, how many of each, the names for cards, and the exact text of the address and registration block — checked by whoever signs the letters. An estimate usually follows the same working day.
System and mockups
usually within two working days: the letterhead at actual size, a card front and back, and the envelope face, all from one system. Two or three correction rounds are normal.
Printed proof
For a first order we recommend one printed letterhead and one card as a physical sample, so paper weight and finish are approved in hand before the lot is run.
Production
A 50% advance confirms. Our partner presses print, laminate and cut; our team checks counts and packs each item separately, cards bundled by name. Ready 5–10 working days after approval.
Delivery and file
Hand delivery across Lucknow, courier beyond it. The system file is kept, so a new partner's card or a letterhead reprint matches the last lot exactly.
A worked example: a builder's new sales office
This is an illustrative brief, not a client case study. A real-estate developer opening a sales office on Shaheed Path for a new project needs stationery before the launch weekend. The brief is 2,000 letterheads and 1,000 matching envelopes with the project name beneath the company logo, 500 presentation folders to hold the project brochure and price sheet, visiting cards for twelve sales staff and two managers, and 300 notepads for the discussion tables.
The company's logo file and colour values already exist from last year's table calendars, so the system is drawn in a day and the mockups go back the next. Cards are gloss-laminated to suit the project's full-colour mark; folders carry the same photograph as the brochure cover. The address block is corrected once — a registration line the sales head wants added is supplied by their office, and we set it as given. Approval comes on the fourth working day; the full set is delivered to the Shaheed Path office by our team within the usual 5–10 working days, each item in its own labelled carton, cards bundled by name.
When the set gets ordered
Four situations bring most stationery briefs. A new office or branch opening, where everything is needed at once and the folder matters as much as the letterhead. A rebrand or a new logo, where every old sheet has to be replaced in the same week. A new partner, director or sales team, where the cards must match a set printed two years ago. And a hospital or institute adding a department, where the letterhead needs a second line.
Smaller firms — a two-partner CA practice, an architect's studio — often order the set alongside a short run of leather diaries for clients, so that one delivery covers both.
Where Lucknow's stationery orders come from
Professional firms around Hazratganj, corporate and hospital offices in Gomti Nagar, and the new builders' and schools' offices along Shaheed Path and Sushant Golf City make up most of this work, all hand-delivered from Vikas Nagar; every other locality is on the Lucknow areas page.
By buyer, the two pages most often read alongside this one are CA and law firms and builders and real-estate companies; hospitals order the set for new departments. If the folder is to carry a brochure, see catalogue and brochure printing, which uses the same brand system.
Questions about corporate stationery
What paper do you use for letterheads and visiting cards?
Letterheads are printed on 100 GSM letterhead paper, which runs through office laser and inkjet printers without curling. Visiting cards are on 300 GSM card with matt or gloss lamination, or spot UV on the logo. Heavier letterhead stock can be specified.
Can you print visiting cards for a whole team from a list?
Yes. Send an Excel sheet with name, designation, mobile and email for each person. Every card is proofed as a PDF, printed in its own lot of 100 or more, and bundled by name. New joiners are added to the same file later and match the earlier cards.
Is there a minimum order for stationery?
Cards are usually run in lots of 100 per name and letterheads in a few hundred; send your quantities and we quote the smallest sensible lot — because the setup is the same for a small run and a large one. Most offices order a few months' stock of each item together.
Will the letterhead match the diaries we ordered from you earlier?
Yes. The approved artwork from your diary or calendar order is on file, with the logo size and the colour values achieved in print, and the stationery system is built from it. If the earlier order was elsewhere, send that file and a printed piece.
How long does a stationery order take?
Mockups usually within two working days; the printed set is ready 5–10 working days after artwork approval, with hand delivery across Lucknow. A new office opening on a fixed date should send the brief three weeks ahead to leave room for a printed proof.
Do you keep our files for reprints?
Yes. The system file, the approved address block and the names list stay with us, so a reprint of letterheads or a card for a new partner is identical to the last lot without a new design round. Tell us if the GSTIN or address changes.
