Mahanagar, older and greener, has the established doctors, the professional offices above shops and the long-standing schools. Kapoorthala sits between them with its crossing of banks, restaurants and institutes. None of these is a head-office district; nearly every buyer here is the owner or the person who runs the front desk.

That shapes the brief. Decisions are quick and personal — the doctor chooses the calendar photographs, the showroom manager wants the phone number large enough to read from a chair — and the order is often collected on the way home rather than delivered to a goods entrance. Because the studio in Vikas Nagar is 2–5 km away, we treat this as our home market: a sample usually reaches you within a day of being asked for, and a corrected mockup can be approved over a cup of tea at your counter.

Diwali and New Year: two handovers, one artwork

Businesses here gift twice within ten weeks. Planning both at once saves a second round of design and gives the New Year pieces a head start.

Diwali, October–November

A box or a sweet-sized gift for referring doctors, suppliers and regular customers, with a pen or a small diary inside. The artwork is festive but carries the same logo lock-up that will appear on the January calendar.

New Year, late December

The 2027 table calendar for the counter and the diary for staff. If the Diwali box already carried the logo in the agreed colours, these go to production with a single mockup round.

Ordering both together

One brief in September or early October covers both. Diwali pieces are produced first; calendar and diary artwork is approved in the same window and printed after, well inside the 2027 timeline.

What stays constant

Logo file, brand colour, contact details and the foil shade. What changes is the message: a greeting on the Diwali box, a year planner and holiday list in the diary, the clinic's timings on every calendar sheet.

Clinics, labs and nursing homes

Medical practices gift in two directions. Outward, to the doctors and small hospitals who refer patients — a PU diary with the referring doctor's name, a boxed pen, a Diwali box. Inward and on the counter, to patients and their own staff — a table calendar with the clinic's timings, the emergency number and the consulting days printed on every sheet, and plain printed pens that walk out of the consulting room every day and need replacing by the box.

A calendar that patients read for a year works harder than most advertising, so we spend the design time on legibility: large date grids, clear month names in Hindi and English, holiday marking, and the clinic's details in a size that is readable across a waiting room. Showrooms, coaching institutes, schools and bank branches

Two-wheeler and car showrooms along the Aliganj and Kapoorthala roads hand a calendar or a keychain to every customer at delivery and keep pens at the enquiry and service counters; the lot sizes follow monthly sales and are reordered through the year. How an Aliganj order runs

1. Brief by WhatsApp or at the counter

   Product, quantity, your logo and the details that must appear — timings, numbers, address. If you have no vector logo, a clear photograph of the signboard is enough to redraw it from.

2. Mockup usually within two working days

   Each calendar sheet or the diary cover shown in your colours, with the logo at actual size. One or two rounds of changes are normal; we bring a printed sample if you want to see it on paper.

3. Production after approval

   5–10 working days at our partner presses. Diwali pieces go first if both seasons are in the same brief; calendars and diaries follow in the same window.

4. Delivery or collection

   Checked at the studio and brought to your counter by our team, usually the same day, or collected from Vikas Nagar. GST invoice with every lot; payment by UPI, bank transfer or card.

A worked example: a two-wheeler showroom's year

This is an illustrative brief, not a client case study. A two-wheeler showroom on the Aliganj main road with a service centre behind it wants three things. For Diwali, 120 boxes for its mechanics, sub-dealers and the finance-company executives who sit at its desk — a small diary and a pen in a printed box. For New Year, 300 table calendars, one for every customer who takes delivery in January and February plus the service counter, with the model range across the twelve sheets and the service booking number on each. And through the year, 500 printed pens for the enquiry desk, reordered when they run out.

The owner sends the logo and the model photographs in late September.
