WEBSITES & CUSTOM APPS
Website development for hospitals, nursing homes and clinics in Lucknow
A hospital or clinic website has to answer three questions quickly — which doctor, when they sit, and how to get an appointment — with the emergency number visible before anything else.
We custom-code healthcare sites in our Vikas Nagar studio with departments, a doctor directory showing OPD timings, doctor-wise appointment requests on WhatsApp, facilities, the panel list and a Hindi version, live 8–10 days after we receive all your details. The price is quoted on WhatsApp.
Lucknow's larger private hospitals cluster in Gomti Nagar and along Shaheed Path towards Sushant Golf City; clinics and nursing homes fill Aliganj, Kapoorthala, Indira Nagar and Alambagh, and specialists still keep chambers around Hazratganj. Patients from all of them, and from the districts beyond, now look a hospital up before they travel. Below: the pages, features and inputs such a site needs, and where an app helps the front desk.
What a patient needs from the site, in the order they need it
People open a hospital's website in one of three states. Some are in a hurry: a relative is unwell and they want the emergency number and the route, now. Some are planning: a knee has hurt for months, a neighbour has named an orthopaedic surgeon, and they want that surgeon's OPD days and a way to book. Others are already patients or attendants, looking for visiting hours, whether their insurance is accepted, or what a health check includes.
A well-built healthcare site serves all three without making anyone hunt. Emergency and ambulance numbers sit in the header of every page as tap-to-call links; the doctor directory filters by department and shows the OPD days each doctor keeps; the appointment request is short; and panels, packages and facilities are written plainly instead of being left to a call with reception. The chairman's message and the gallery come after.
Pages a hospital or clinic website needs
A single-doctor clinic may need three of these; a multi-speciality hospital needs all six, a page per department, and the facilities and packages covered below.
| Page | What it must do | Why it matters for healthcare |
|---|---|---|
| Departments | One page per speciality: conditions treated, procedures, equipment and its doctors | Patients search by problem and speciality; department pages are what Google lists for those searches |
| Doctor directory | Each doctor with photograph, qualifications, registration number as supplied, languages spoken, and OPD days and timings | Many patients come for a named doctor, so this is the part of the site they check first |
| Appointment request | Doctor, preferred day, patient name and phone, sent to that doctor's desk on WhatsApp; the hospital confirms the slot | A person confirming each request keeps the OPD schedule in the hospital's hands and avoids double-booking |
| Insurance, TPA and panels | Insurers, TPAs and government or corporate schemes the hospital is empanelled with, exactly as the billing desk supplies them, with a last-updated date | Families settle on cashless admission before they settle on a hospital; an old list causes disputes at billing |
| Patient information | Visiting hours, attendant rules, admission and discharge process, documents to bring, parking and canteen | Answers the questions reception fields daily, before the patient arrives |
| Emergency and contacts | Casualty, ambulance, blood bank and appointment numbers as tap-to-call buttons, with directions from the main roads | The number a frightened relative needs has to be one tap away on every page |
Features built around a hospital's front desk
The working parts we build for hospitals and clinics; a clinic may take two or three, a hospital usually all six.
- Doctor-wise WhatsApp booking
- Each doctor's profile has its own appointment button, routed to the WhatsApp number of that doctor's OPD desk or secretary rather than a general inbox; the desk replies with the slot.
- OPD timings the desk can change
- When a consultant is on leave or moves an OPD day, the front office updates it once in a small login, and the directory, department page and home-page notice all change.
- Registration and accreditation, only as supplied
- Hospital registration, accreditation marks and doctors' registration numbers appear only when you send them with the documents, worded exactly as issued. Nothing is added, shortened or implied.
- Hindi version for patients
- Departments, doctors, timings, visiting hours and panels in Devanagari for patients and attendants from Barabanki, Sitapur, Raebareli and the old city who read Hindi first.
- Health packages and facilities
- Health-check packages with inclusions and preparation notes such as fasting, and a facilities page for whatever the hospital runs — ICU, OT, dialysis, imaging, lab, pharmacy — with real photographs.
- Calm, readable design
- Large type, strong contrast, no autoplay sliders, and pages that load on a weak signal in a waiting hall — for readers who are anxious, elderly or on an old phone.
What to send us for a hospital or clinic site
Healthcare details must be right, so this checklist is longer than most; the 8–10 day clock starts when it is complete:
- logo, the hospital's registered name, and the registration and accreditation details to display, with a copy of each certificate for reference;
- the department list, with services and procedures under each;
- for every doctor: photograph, qualifications, medical registration number, languages, department, and OPD days and timings, approved by the doctor;
- the WhatsApp number of each desk that should receive appointment requests;
- the current insurance, TPA and scheme panel list from the billing desk;
- health packages with inclusions and preparation notes;
- visiting hours, attendant rules, admission and discharge notes, and the emergency, ambulance and blood bank numbers;
- photographs of the building, reception, wards, labs and equipment, with no patient in frame unless they have consented.
We do not write medical content or treatment claims: department text comes from your doctors, or we quote separately to edit their notes. Profiles stay factual — qualifications, experience, OPD timings — which reads plainly to patients and is easy for doctors to sign off.
Where an app helps a hospital
The website brings the patient to the door; what happens at the door is often a register and a queue. An appointment and token app gives each OPD desk a day list by doctor — website requests, phone bookings and walk-ins in one place — with token numbers issued in order.
Two smaller apps look after the patients who leave. Patient follow-up reminders list who is due back this week — a post-operative review, a dressing, a repeat test — so the desk calls them before they lose track. A referral-doctor tracker records which clinics and practitioners send patients, how many and to which department, so the PRO team knows whom to visit and which referrers are growing.
Each is a web app for the front-desk computer and staff phones, or a mobile app where that suits, and is ready 15–20 days after we receive all your feedback on the screen plan. The data and code belong to the hospital; the custom app development page explains the steps.
How a hospital site goes live in 8–10 days
Brief with the administrator
A call, WhatsApp or meeting at the hospital: departments, doctors, branches, who updates OPD timings, which desks take bookings. Demo links follow the same day.
Quote, then half in advance
A written quote on WhatsApp for pages, Hindi version and booking routes. A 50% advance confirms; the balance is due at launch.
Doctors and desks send details
Profiles, timings, panel list and photographs arrive against the checklist, each doctor approving their own entry. The 8–10 day count starts when all of it is in.
Home page with the emergency strip
A private preview in the hospital's colours with emergency numbers, doctor search and appointment button placed. One round of changes, then the rest is built.
Directory, departments and Hindi pages
Every page built; the front office sends a test request to each desk to confirm it lands. Two rounds of corrections are included.
Launch and desk training
Live on the hospital's domain with SSL, Search Console and Business Profile connected; a video call shows the front office how to change an OPD timing.
How patients in Lucknow search for a doctor or hospital
Healthcare searches in this city are specific and local: "orthopaedic doctor in Indira Nagar", "gynaecologist Gomti Nagar OPD timing", "cashless hospital Alambagh", "dialysis centre Shaheed Path", and in Hindi, "लखनऊ में हड्डी के डॉक्टर". Many end in "near me", typed on a phone by someone who will ring the first number that looks right. Google answers with a map pack drawn from Business Profiles and with pages that name the speciality, the doctor and the area.
So the site gives each department and each senior consultant a page of its own, names the locality, carries hours and phone numbers in structured data, and links to a Business Profile kept current with OPD timings and photographs. For hospitals in Gomti Nagar and Sushant Golf City, and clinics in Aliganj, Indira Nagar, Alambagh or Hazratganj, we meet at the premises.
Referral diaries, OPD calendars and the website from one desk
Hospitals already order referral-network print from this studio: named diaries for referring doctors, OPD wall calendars and appointment desk calendars, numbered receipt and bill books, and letterheads and visiting cards for consultants. When the website is built at the same desk, the department list and OPD timings printed in the referral diary match the directory online, and the helpline on the wall calendar is the number on the home page. A new wing or a new consultant goes onto the site, the diary insert and the calendar footer from one brief.
Questions hospitals and clinics ask about their website
Can appointment requests go to each doctor's own desk?
Yes. Every doctor's profile can carry its own button routed to that OPD desk's or secretary's WhatsApp number. The request arrives with the patient's name, phone and preferred day, and your desk confirms the slot.
Will the site show our accreditation and registration numbers?
Only the ones you supply, worded exactly as on the certificate, with a copy sent to us for reference. Nothing is added that you have not provided, and each doctor's registration number appears as that doctor approves it.
How do we keep OPD timings right when doctors change days?
The front office gets a small login. Change a timing once and it updates on the doctor's profile, the department page and anywhere else it appears; leave notices are posted the same way.
Can our billing desk update the insurance and TPA list?
Yes. The panel list sits in the same login with a last-updated date that patients can see, so families can check before admission and the billing desk works from one current list.
Is a Hindi version worth it for a hospital?
If patients come from the districts around Lucknow, usually yes; many attendants read and search in Hindi. Every patient-facing page, from doctors and timings to visiting hours and panels, can be built in Devanagari alongside English.
Can we launch the website first and add the token app later?
Yes. The appointment and token app, follow-up reminders or referral tracker can be added later on the same domain. Each app is ready 15–20 days after we receive all your feedback on the screen plan.
